We are pleased to announce that the Spaceman's cover version of Derek Lind's ‘Stick To The Surface’ will be released on the 5th of April, 2024. Derek Lind remains one of New Zealand’s iconic songwriters and ‘Stick to the Surface’ was the second track from his classic 1986 debut album ‘Mixed Blessings’.
This unusual interpretation was recorded by Basement Spaceman and mixed by Joel Taylor. Featuring Vernon Rive (keys), Helen Gordon (vocals) and Michael Te Young on Drums. There will also be a video clip release on the same day featuring some very ‘sticky stuff’ indeed!!
